Varicose veins occur when veins become enlarged and twisted, causing pain, heaviness, and swelling. We provide laser, RF ablation, glue treatment, and minimally invasive procedures for faster recovery.
PAD occurs when arteries supplying the legs narrow, leading to pain, discoloration, and poor circulation. We offer angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy, and advanced limb-saving treatments.
Minimally invasive vascular procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, embolization, and thrombolysis for fast, safe, and effective disease management without open surgery.
Expert creation and maintenance of AV fistulas, grafts, and catheter-based access for chronic kidney disease patients to ensure long-term, reliable dialysis access.
Treatment of congenital and acquired vascular malformations, including AVMs, venous malformations, lymphatic malformations, and capillary malformations.
Blockages in the carotid arteries can lead to stroke. We provide carotid endarterectomy and carotid stenting to restore blood flow safely.
Venous, arterial, and diabetic ulcers require specialized vascular care. We provide advanced wound healing and circulation-restoring treatments.
Leg swelling can be caused by venous insufficiency, lymphedema, or DVT. We offer accurate diagnosis and targeted vascular treatment to relieve swelling.
Emergency treatment for arterial and venous injuries caused by accidents, fractures, and penetrating trauma to restore circulation quickly and safely.
Conditions affecting the portal and mesenteric veins can lead to severe abdominal complications. We offer expert diagnosis and minimally invasive treatments.
Aortic aneurysms occur when the aorta weakens and bulges, posing a risk of rupture. We offer advanced screening and endovascular repair options.
Diabetic foot ulcers require early evaluation to prevent infections and amputations. We provide limb salvage treatments and vascular restoration.
DVT is caused by clot formation in deep veins, often the legs. Our treatments include thrombolysis, clot removal, and vein preservation procedures.
TOS occurs when nerves or blood vessels are compressed near the neck and shoulder. We offer surgical and minimally invasive decompression solutions.
Reduced blood flow to the intestines can be life-threatening. We specialize in early diagnosis and endovascular revascularization.

Dr. Gurunath Reddy is a highly skilled, polite, and approachable vascular surgeon. We consulted him for my father’s non-healing foot ulcer, which had gradually worsened and affected his ability to walk. After the in-person physical examination, and review of the initial USG Doppler and CT angiography reports, Dr. Gurunath identified major arterial blockages in one of the legs and suggested specific type of peripheral artery bypass surgery (a fem-pop bypass surgery) as the best treatment option. He took the time to explain the condition, procedure, and associated risks and benefits with great patience and clarity, which gave us confidence to proceed. With proper pre-surgery evaluations and clear guidance, Dr. Gurunath successfully performed the surgery at St. John’s Hospital, Bengaluru, handling even the complexities with remarkable skill and precision. Within a week, my father began walking a little (with the help of a walker), and over the next two months, he regained strength and mobility. Now there is no pain related to the surgery and he can walk independently; his foot ulcer is also on the verge of healing completely. We are sincerely thankful to Dr. Gurunath, and his team at the hospital, for constant support, care, and professionalism throughout the journey—from diagnosis to recovery. His expertise, kindness, and approachable nature truly made a difficult time much easier for our family. God bless him!

We took my 80-year-old father to multiple orthopedic and vascular surgeons due to a persistent wound on his left ankle that failed to heal despite medications, pain management, and regular wound dressings. An MRI scan revealed that both his lower limbs had no blood circulation, which explained the delayed healing. Upon consulting Dr. Gurunath Reddy at St. John's Hospital, he promptly diagnosed the condition and recommended immediate angioplasty. He clearly explained the severity of my father’s condition, emphasizing that due to his age and calcification issues, complete recovery could not be guaranteed. Despite our initial concerns, we decided to proceed with the surgery under his expert care. The surgery lasted nearly two hours, and Dr. Gurunath Reddy was exceptionally patient, thoroughly explaining the procedure and the necessary post-operative care. We diligently followed his instructions, and today, my father is back on his feet, able to independently manage his daily activities. We are immensely grateful to Dr. Gurunath Reddy.

My grandmother has been suffering from varicose veins since 2015. She had a history of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) in 2008 and was treated for 3 years, after which it got cured. Later, we were told that her varicose veins were due to that blood clot. On the advice of an interventional radiologist, she underwent laser surgery. However, for the past 7 years, she has been suffering from blackish discoloration in both legs — more severe in the leg that had the laser surgery — and a persistent wound on her left leg. When we revisited the same doctor, he suggested laser surgery for the other leg as well. We were confused and wanted a second opinion, so we went to Manipal Hospital, but we couldn’t clearly understand the explanation there either. Finally, a friend recommended Dr. Gurunath Reddy, and I must say it was the best decision we made. Dr. Gurunath Reddy explained my grandmother’s condition clearly and guided us with a proper treatment plan.

Vascular surgeons treat issues related to arteries and veins including varicose veins, diabetic foot problems, peripheral artery disease (PAD), DVT, aneurysms, carotid artery disease, vascular trauma, and dialysis access conditions. Both surgical and non-surgical treatments may be used based on your diagnosis.
Symptoms such as leg pain while walking, swelling, non-healing foot wounds, visible varicose veins, numbness, color changes, or reduced pulses may indicate a vascular issue. A Doppler ultrasound or vascular diagnostic test helps identify the cause and the right treatment plan.
Most modern vascular treatments—especially endovascular procedures like laser therapy, angioplasty, or glue ablation—are minimally invasive, relatively painless, and involve quick recovery. Risks are explained clearly before any procedure, ensuring your safety and comfort.
Recovery depends on the type of procedure. Minimally invasive treatments like laser ablation or angioplasty allow patients to return home the same day and resume normal activities quickly. Complex surgeries may require longer recovery, which will be clearly discussed by the doctor.
